Our People
Our people are key to providing a quality service to our clients. To enable us to recruit, and retain the best talent we ensure equality, diversity, and inclusion amongst our workforce and pride ourselves on a very low staff turnover rate.
Training and development plans are implemented for all staff to keep up to date with industry standards, health and safety regulations and new procedures.
We understand the importance of the Health and Wellbeing of our staff. Our Social Committee, which is made up of individuals from various departments meet quarterly, giving staff the opportunity for two way communication on what is important to them and what measure should be implemented to continually improve our working environment.
Our Planet
Marcon has applied several processes to ensure we minimise our impact on the planet. We proactively monitor all aspects of our environmental management system. This ensures continual improvement in all that we do.
Through participation in Northern Irelands Environmental Benchmarking Survey we have implemented several initiatives to help reduce carbon emissions; minimise waste, maximise recycling and sourcing of sustainable materials.
Our Communities
As a responsible business it is important that we contribute to places in which we work and support our local community.
We examine the benefits we can bring, such as, health, live-ability, and inclusion, all of which are integral to the long-term sustainability of communities.
We foster community involvement through apprenticeship schemes and student placement programmes, local supply chains; sponsorships and fundraising and encouraging our own employees to positively contribute to communities through volunteering events.
