McDonald’s serves up top supplier award to Marcon Fit-Out
Marcon has won UK Supplier of the Year Award from global restaurant chain McDonald’s.
Presented at the McDonald’s Annual Conference in Portugal, this prestigious accolade recognises an outstanding contribution to the McDonald’s supply chain.
The “Three Legged Stool Awards”, which acknowledge the partnership between the three legs of the stool – franchisees, suppliers and corporate staff, is used by the restaurant chain to reward companies and individuals that have excelled in contributing to the success of the McDonald’s brand. Marcon was selected as Supplier of the year from the entire McDonald’s procurement chain.
Working with McDonald’s since 2008, Marcon has completed projects the length and breadth of the UK completing over 250 individual projects from Greenock to Southampton and Omagh to King’s Lynn.
Due to the exceptional standard of project delivery by Marcon the company has secured future contracts with McDonald’s up to 2018.
Securing this contract has allowed Marcon to employ a further 15 people. The company has also opened a regional office in Sheffield to support work from McDonald’s. The strategic location of the office will allow the business to continue to expand its client base across a range of sectors.

We have added 10 new staff already and hope to fill the remaining 5 positions over the next 6 months.
