Marcon are off to a flying start with the roll out of McDonald’s new ‘Convenience of the Future’ stores!
McDonalds have introduced the new store concept across their UK and Irish portfolio to meet the growing demand for convenience of deliveries and accessibility.
Through a series of reconfiguration and refurbishments works, these projects will really enhance the McDelivery service!
McDonalds St Helens, located on Chalon Way, was the first ‘Convenience of the Future’ store completed by Marcon. The works included the full internal refurbishment of the two-story drive thru building, which now incorporates internal delivery driver collection points and table service lifts.
All works were completed on time and budget within this fast-track programme and St Helen’s Franchisee Lance Flor was delighted with his new store.
“The Marcon Team completed an extensive COTF conversion including kitchen remodelling and a reimage. Included within the project was installing Hub and Spoke, table service lifts, creating a dedicated room for our Delivery Couriers and improving our Crew Room. The team were accessible and helpful throughout and a pleasure to work with. Not only was the work of a high standard but our team were able to gain early access to the site to prepare for our grand reopening. Our crew, customers and delivery couriers love the store. A job very well done, thank you.”
As part of the roll out, the global restaurant chain has another fifty UK and Irish stores planned for 2022!! An ambitious number and Marcon are up to the task.
