Project Description:
Marcon were appointed as Principal Contractor for the expansion of ADI Gardiner Ltd depot at Duncrue in Belfast.
The projects consisted of the amalgamation of two existing wholesale retail and warehouse premises to form one seamless building for the global distribution company.
- Strip out of existing partitions and doors on the ground floor and mezzanine to both units and the formation of new openings in the blockwork party wall.
- New partition walls, ceiling and floor finishes.
- Formation of a new Sales Area/office room/training room/Staffroom/WCs/kitchenette/storage area.
- Adaptions to the warehouse to suit new layout.
- New AC and ventilation in sales area, office, training room and staff room.
- Supply and installation off new bespoke shop fitting including perimeter to the retail area.
- Supply new furniture and fittings for the office area, training room, staff area.
- Supply new lighting, electrical and data installation, internal signage and branding.
- Adaption of gas heating, sprinkler to suit a new layout.
- Installation of new vinyl graphics to window
- New signage and finishes to the external envelope including new metal framed glazed doors to entrance and metal framed windows set behind roller shutter.
The works were phased to allow the current branch to keep trading during the fit out, minimizing disruption to ADI’s operations.
