Project Description:
Marcon fulfilled the role of Principal contractor for the fit out of a new 2600 sq ft coffee shop at London Luton Airport for speciality coffee brand – Black Sheep Coffee.
Black Sheep Coffee was founded in 2013 and now occupies more than 40 sites across the UK and more planned throughout 2023.
The new 79-seater Black Sheep Coffee store is located airside at London Luton Airport, adjacent to the terminal concourse. It involved working around live airport services with no disruption to critical airport operations.
Scope of work included:
- Data installation
- Internal & external signage
- Manufacture of fixed seating booths with integrated LED lighting
- Flooring
- Decoration, wall finishes and branding throughout
- Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and drainage installations
- Installation of fire alarm system
- Counter installation
- Minor shopfront alteration
- Management of Client directs including coffee and catering equipment, lighting, non-fixed furniture, CCTV, and IT hardware
