Marcon appointed to fit-out new Timberland store in Scotland
Marcon has been appointed by VF Group to fit-out a store for their Timberland brand in Buchanan Street, Glasgow.
VF Group is an American worldwide apparel and footwear company founded in 1899 and has over 30 brands within the group including: The North Face; Vans; Timberland; Kipling and Dickies.
The project involves the strip out and fit-out of a new unit to create a bright and vibrant Timberland store in the heart of Glasgow’s popular shopping area.
Marcon’s work will incorporate flooring, partitions, new mechanical and electrical installation, ceilings, shopfront and specialist joinery.
Speaking of the contract award, Mark McElroy, Marcon said: “We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with VF Group. We have successfully completed fit-out projects for Vans and The North Face, but this is our first Timberland store. The design drawings look great and I’m sure shoppers will be looking forward to seeing the finished store.”
