Marcon has completed the fit-out of the new Visit Derry visitor information centre at Waterloo Place in the city. The new interactive centre will be a hub for visitors to the famous Walled City.
Marcon carried out the full interior refurbishment and fit-out of the building which included all mechanical and electrical works, manufacture and installation of specialist joinery, audio visual hardware and software and graphics throughout.
The new centre has numerous interactive features that makes it one of the most modern visitor centres around with its immersive projection room, interactive walls, touch screen kiosks, 18 screen video wall and a feature jesmonite Oak tree sculpture.
Marcon worked closely with the team at Derry City and Strabane District Council, Hamilton Architects and DESIGNMAP to bring the centre to life.
