Marcon has completed the full interior fit-out of Belfast’s newest restaurant. 3 Levels Asian Fusion located on University Road, Belfast is the latest arrival to the city’s burgeoning restaurant scene.
The fit-out of the sumptuous interior took 8 weeks to complete, which included a full strip out of the existing premises, installation of new passenger lift, feature staircase, kitchen equipment and all bespoke joinery and metalwork throughout.
The three levels of the restaurant give customers a variety of flavours from the Far East. The ground level is a café and bar and the 1st floor level offers a Chinese themed restaurant. The Japanese styled 2nd floor is the jewel in the crown with three feature Teppanyaki tables.
Teppanyaki is a style of Japanese cuisine originally developed in 1940s, that uses an iron griddle to cook food, which is a fast growing art of dining worldwide and especially in the UK.
It’s not just a delicious taste of Japan but a whole concept of entertainment. Customers sit around a granite counter, topped with a gleaming steel plate whilst the specialist chefs juggle their knives and perform miraculous cutting feats while cooking a mouth-watering combination of steak, chicken, seafood and vegetables.
Marcon worked closely with Paul Horscroft from Horscroft Design who designed the stylish restaurant interior.
Lorcan Hegarty, Project Manager at Marcon comments; “The fit-out of 3 Levels Asian Fusion has been a challenging yet rewarding project to be involved in. We were able to utilise our specialist joinery workshop to manufacture the bespoke features throughout the interior.
Marcon has an enviable reputation of successfully completing complex bar and restaurant projects and it is nice to add this project to our hospitality portfolio.”
