Belfast has welcomed an exciting new hospitality hotspot – Amelia Hall!
Marcon were appointed principal contractor to deliver the internal fit out of this stylish new venue which officially opened its doors on Saturday, September 7th.
Located on Howard Street, Amelia Hall is the latest venture by the Ringland Group, known for their popular hotels The Flint and The 1852, as well as trendy spots like Town Square and Southside Social. The venue, named after the nearby Amelia Street, occupies a prime space next to The Flint Hotel, and included the transformation of several vacant units, creating 7000 sq ft of vibrant hospitality space.
Amelia Hall boasts a spacious beer hall with a carefully curated selection of beers, an artisan pizzeria, and an outdoor terrace that opens directly onto Howard Street. With its striking interior design, the venue promises a unique atmosphere where sleek modern touches blend seamlessly with revived historic features. High ceilings, massive iron-framed windows, and grand iron doors create an impressive entrance that sets the tone for the unforgettable experience inside.
The new Amelia Hall uses a high standard of materials and decorative finishes. Bespoke joinery featured highly in the front of house works. Our in-house design team developed working drawings for bespoke joinery packages for banquet and fixed seating, bar counters and wall panelling, all manufactured at our workshop prior to being delivered to and installed on site. Feature pendant lighting and comfortable seating enhances the high-quality ambience of these spaces.
“We are hugely excited by this project, particularly as the designs and finish quality bring new levels of interior excellence to Belfast,” said Thomas Camblin, Head of Development for the Ringland Group with MD Peter Ringland adding: “Our most beautiful creation to date”.
Mark O’Connor, Director at Marcon commented: “The investment the Ringland Group has made highlights their absolute focus on placing customer experience at the heart of its hospitality offer. We are delighted to see the new Amelia Hall open. Our team have worked exceptionally hard to create an incredible, high-end finish and it has been a privilege to work with the Ringland Group and their entire project team to deliver this first-class hospitality destination.”
Whether you’re enjoying a pint in the beer hall, sampling a slice of pizza from the pizzeria, or soaking up the atmosphere on the outdoor terrace, Amelia Hall is set to offer something truly special.
