Marcon is proud to announce the successful completion of a brand-new Flagship Miele store at 25 Wigmore Street, London — marking our fifth collaboration with the world-renowned premium appliance brand.

Miele, a German brand established in 1899, is globally recognised for its innovation, quality, and longevity across its range of premium domestic appliances. Their London Wigmore Street location continues their tradition of offering customers an immersive experience with cutting-edge kitchen and laundry solutions in a sleek, modern retail setting. Live demonstration areas are at the heart of the space, offering hands-on experiences with appliances

Delivered in just six weeks, the project included the full interior fit-out of the retail unit and the installation of bespoke external signage. Works comprised the construction of new partitions and wall linings, application of high-end floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, and the integration of full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems connected to the landlord’s incoming services.

Key structural and mechanical elements included the installation of a new hoist system to allow access to the basement level via hatch, while the existing HVAC system was retained and integrated into the new layout.

Located in the heart of London’s West End, Wigmore Street is just moments from the world-famous Oxford Street and is home to a blend of high-end retail, office, and heritage buildings. The Miele store sits within an existing listed bank building, adjacent to active trading retail units. Given the central location and ongoing pedestrian and vehicular traffic, Marcon managed on-street deliveries via council-permitted early morning slots, and used a “wait and load” system for waste removal to ensure minimal disruption.

“This project is a fantastic example of how collaboration, planning and experience can deliver exceptional results in tight timeframes and challenging city centre locations,” said Ross Mullan, Marcon Contracts Manager. “It’s been a pleasure to work with Miele once again – our fifth store together – and we’re proud to play a part in bringing their premium retail experience to life.”
