On Friday 26th April, two of our very brave site managers, Joe Mooney, and Stephen Lee took part in an exhilarating 60 metre abseil, at Smithfield Tower in Dublin, Ireland, to raise an impressive €1,745 for Ronald McDonald House Charities Ireland.
The organization offers accommodation and support to families with seriously ill children undergoing treatment, ensuring they can stay together during challenging times.
The event, organized to support the charity, saw participants defy gravity and their own fears as they descended the towering structure.
Each step down symbolized their dedication to making a difference in the lives of those in need.
Joe Mooney, Site Manager at Marcon described the experience as both exhilarating and humbling “It was quite daunting looking down from the top but knowing that our efforts will directly benefit families in need is incredibly motivating. Ronald McDonald House Charities Ireland does amazing work, and being able to contribute in this way is a privilege.”
Stephen Lee continued “It’s incredible to see everyone coming together to create such a positive impact. We would like to say a huge thank you to all who kindly donated to help us support this fantastic cause.”
